Concerning the visit in Norway, September 2003 of

ass. professor, dr. David Tripp from Murdoch University, Western Australia

The Foundation for Local Health Trials sent an invitation in June 2003 to some who possibly wanted to exchange experience-based knowledge on how to learn. Those who made contracts are listed in the programme (see the end of the page).

The main principles for action research - AR (which nowadays most often means participatory action research - PAR) and for action learning (AL) are the same and accord well with the aims and skills our foundation wants to promote (i.e. PLA -Participatory Learning and Action). Dr Tripp simplified some challenging but useful basic premises in PLAnytt 47 (later updated with his original in English). Tripp now use the heading Action Inquiry (AI) as the umrella term and concept.

Feedback from the September visit showed that most participants benefitted well from the seminars.
